Lesson Plan, Presentation, and Role Play


Let’s start my reflection about last session!
            I have done, watched, and identified role play based on lesson plan in the last session. Actually, I have known that there are some appropriate learning and teaching language activities which can conduct in the classroom. I can make lesson plan well now. And also I know the content of lesson plan it self should be brief and clear. Then we discussed about the differences between indicator and objectivity, that depend the purpose of teaching and learning activity will be conducted by the teacher.
My friends did presentation based on their lesson plan in last session. Some of them made topic about public speaking and narrative text. First, they explained the characteristic to be a good public speaker by lecture discussion instruction. The teacher gave presentation and movie about how to be good public speaker, then the teacher ask the students to practice in front of class.  I know now that we are as a teacher candidate should encourage and motivate students to be confidence speaking in front of many people. In addition, I should show role model (Example: gesture and articulation) to be a good public speaker to them. Second is about how to identify and make narrative text by group instruction. The teacher gave the students a narrative text, and then they should to identify the content of the text such as orientation, complication, and resolution.
On the other hand, I just learned about teacher discussion and group instruction. Miss. Ine, how about silent way and guided discovery instruction actually? (^_^)

combining model of instruction is good, is'nt it?

hmm actually i just wanna ask you about the indicator and the objectivity. Is there any simple way to make it simply different?

hai cintiya, actually indicator is purpose which can measure by the teacher (Ex: cognitive and affective students)
objectivity is what the teachers want to get from their teaching activity to their students.

HIIII... Rindy!!! I think that is a good reflection. Do you think understanding instruction model is important for teacher to be a good public speaker?
