According to my opinion, teachers must prepare before they teach, such as arrangement material that will give to the students, and make a lesson plan. This is the fourth meeting in Principle of Effective Teaching Assessment (PETA). In the previous session we discussed about how to make a lesson plan, and this session it was time for us to do microteaching based on our lesson plan that made before.
There were six groups. Every group made different topic. In the opening of teaching, they explained their objective of lesson. I think every activity based on microteaching is good and interesting. In my opinion microteaching activity is very important for us, because we are teacher candidates. We must know activity that must be done in the classroom. Beside it, microteaching exercise can help us to become a good teaching in the classroom. Then, we can use some methods when we do microteaching and we can adapt it with our lesson objective.
I believe if we have mastered all of the methods that exist and we can customize it with our lesson objective, we also can make a good preparation of material, then we will surely succeed in the classroom. It is certainly with the push by the creativity that we have. I hope that I can to be like that.

Hi.. Ayu.. that is nice reflection. I also like doing the micro-teaching, but it's hard to grab students' attention. You say "we can use some methods when we do micro-teaching and we can adapt it with our lesson objective" Do you get a good method for grabbing students' attention? because it's soooooo hard to make them pay attention. :D

I agree with you that it's difficult to grab attention for the students. A good method for grabbing students' attention until now I still don't know. But, I want to find it one day. :)
