MICROTEACHING


In the previous meeting, we did microteaching presentation. Actually, it wasn’t the first time for us did teaching. In the English Structure subject, we also did teaching, but we haven’t made lesson plan at first. So, it was the first time for us produced lesson plan. In the lesson plan, there are objectives, activities, standard competence, and basic competence. Actually, I’m still confused about the difference between standard competence and basic competence. What I’ve learn from previous meeting that activities must write in detail from opening until closing. We have to know what we are going to do in class with students.
We have to act like a teacher and my friends act like students in class. My team and I taught about how to read poem correctly based on lesson plan that we have made before class. The activities have to reach the objective, that’s the difficult point for me. We have to find activities that can effective for students in order to reach the objective easily. Actually, the activities that we’ve presented not totally delivered because the time is limited.
This course really helps me to make lesson plan. Lesson plan makes me deal with time management and let my students have knowledge why they have to learn the topic.  I hope I can implement this subject in the future well.

micri teaching makes me know how to teach based on lesson plan that we've made, but in our class I didn't satisfy because of the time.
of course, it really help us in preparing teaching assistance, because we're going to make lesson plan.

ok, I get the point and i agree with that.
it's so hard to create the activities which is have to reach the objective itself, so what do you think about the effective ice breaking? what it should be?

I think the effective ice breaking should related to the topic that you want to deliver, such as games which related to the topic itself. so, the students also can learn while playing.
