Mix the Lesson Plan :D (2nd reflective journal)

         

            Welcome back to PETA e-reflection, this is my second journal :D. Let me share what I got in this session. Check this out.

            In this second session, we watch movie about “Tematik Method” in the 1 grader. This movie shows us about how the teacher teaches tematik (which is integrated subject) and makes it as an effective learning.  I just highlight some things that make me from that movie. I can’t judge that movie is effective or ineffective because there are both. For instance, the effectiveness is more to the teaching process because I think how the teacher integrates all the tematik subjects quite good. On the other hand is ineffectiveness. I think the teacher has to measure the students understanding more objectively by not only asking 2 or 3 students.

            Another activity is creating lesson plan. Last time I made lesson plan assignment is when I was in ICT subject. I bit forgot about doing this, but it will be “my daily breakfast” when I become a teacher someday. In this activity, we are challenged to prepare and measure anything in our teaching and learning and make it as an effective learning. We have to really prepare things such as opening (open-ended question, ice breaking), good quality of content (prepare teaching aid) and also appropriate assignment and assessment.

            Hopefully, as the English teacher candidate, I would could apply it someday :).
