Principle of Effective Teaching and Assessment subject can give me a lot of ways to make my expectation realize as a teacher candidate. On Tuesday, 27th 2011 Miss Ine gives me some material to be a great teacher. The material is about how to make a lesson plan and how to have effective teaching methods. Miss Ine explained about it from a video as an example whom the teacher conduct a thematic lesson in primary school. Actually in that video there was a lot of knowledge which I could be gotten. That was some methods to teach thematic lesson, especially for 3th graders. The teacher in that video could make students interest in studying Thematic. Students went to outside to look the real object which they would be studied. Then teacher assess their understudied by review about today lesson. However, Thematic lesson is quiet appropriate, because it is general learning, so students cannot focus on specific subject (e.g. Mathematic, English, Saints, ect.).
In addition, the great teacher has to make a lesson plan. It is very important. There is some case which was caused by it. That case finds based on Wiggin and McTight’s book, the tittle is Understanding by Design. One of case is the teacher did not has a lesson plan, so when the end of semester he could not finish yet the material whose be conducted by him. It gave a big trouble for students because they could not focus on their final test. As a teacher should have that lesson plan. In addition, I enjoy learning about PETA subject which give me the best way to be a great teacher.

actually I like focus on specific subject and sometimes feel confuse if the material is mixed in one time. thematic learning maybe is not really appropriate for me, so rindy, how if you find the students like me in your class?
