The teacher candidates as scholars from Sampoerna School of Education visited SMA Negeri 61 Jakarta. Almost of people in SMA Negeri 61 Jakarta approved us openly. The head master of that school decided English and Mathematic teachers who wanted to be advisor/master teacher during program teaching assistance and one master teacher handled 2 or 3 scholars. Ferina, Cintia, and I got English teacher whose name is Mam Laila. Next, we fetched the school to know more about the building, location, and students.
October, 18th-20th 2011
Ferina, Cintia, and I observed teaching and learning activity in the X-1; X-2; X-3; X-4 classroom and then we had to be the master teacher’s assistance. We observed about technic and method to teach English which used by the master teacher, so we know how to teach in real context. On the other hand, we could be adaptation with the students in SMA Negeri 61 Jakarta.
October, 21st 2011
Ferina, Cintia, and I taught three classes those were X-2, X-3, and X-4 because Mam Laila gave us that opportunity. We had made a preparation before we did it, such as making lesson plan and providing all of the material and tools.

Standard Competence : Enhancing vocabulary based on derivation process.
Basic competence : Enhancing vocabulary based on derivation process by game such as jumble letter and fill in the blank.

October 22nd – 25th 2011
Ferina, Cintia, and I interviewed Mam Laila as our Master English Teacher about effective teaching technic and method in the classroom. In addition, Mam Laila gave us a reflection based on our teaching and learning activity which we have done at October, 21st 2011 and then we asked the students also about their feeling when they studied with us.
October, 26th 2011
Ferina, Cintia, and I did the teaching and learning activity again. We hoped that we could do better after Mam Laila gave us advice and reflection. As known as we should prepared the lesson plan.

Closing
Teaching assistance program inspire me to be a good teacher. I still remember about Mam Laila said to me that we were as teacher should have prestige in front of our students to be. She also said about our weakness when we teach in her class that we made the students overlap. However, it is not a big trouble because we can repair it next time. On the other hand, the students were happy when received new knowledge from us.

i like your lesson plan. i have imagine that i will be fun and enjoy during class if it is happen in my class (if you teach me). so after you got feedback from your master teacher, did you do the advice? and how about your last teaching? :)

@ kokom : actually, i could the teaching activity as well as i can and then the students0 could understand with my explanation.
@ mbak Ira : yeach, the trouble is about overlap. hahaha
because we teach together so the students felt overlap.
