In the third PETA course meeting I and my friend tried to apply what we had learnt about lesson plan and teaching method through micro team teaching. The team who were presenting acted as English teachers and the others pretended as senior high school students.
Actually, I think I can make a good lesson plan or plan interesting activity, but in fact it was not necessarily learning and teaching activity will also run well. The hardest thing I felt when I did the micro team teaching was controlling my nervous feelings. This feeling affected my voice and my body gesture. For instance, I could not smile while I felt nervous. Moreover, my voice sounded vibrant. I really hated this condition. Until today I still cannot maintain my nervous feeling when it comes. I have read many opinions about maintain nervous feeling while teaching, but still it was hard to be practiced.

I really worry how if I do the same mistake while I do team teaching on school experience. My concerns are how if I deface my institution name, how if the students in school I visit have higher English proficiently than me and etc.
Why do I worry about those things whereas I have taught many students before?. Why do I still worry whereas I can memorize, understand and also analyze the materials well?. Why do I (again) worry whereas I have understood many language teaching methods and can operate language learning technologies better than before?. It is because I have not been ready showing the best “package” which I expect. What I mean by “package” can be my appearance, my pronunciations, my confident, or etc. So you see, becoming a teacher means I have to upgrade my “content” but also my “package”.

that's why you taking course in SSE to decrease your worries. if you have enough knowledge, I think you will be more confidence with your content and package. it's just because you are not usual with it and I think your friends in class also feel the same think like you

Icha, I suggest you to not remember your weakness. It is better if you more concern on your strength .. :)

hey dear,,, it is useless for you to feel worried. just think positive for every things. and about nervous, may be later we may have a few time to share this, because at first I was also nervous.
