There are three models of learning; a) Reception, this model is about the process of learning is being taught, so learning process could be happened if there is a teacher who is teaching learners. b) Construction, learners get the lesson from their selves. c) Co-construction, the learning process could be happened if the learners get the lesson from others resources.
The effective learning is an activity of construction that is handled by the learners their selves. From the effective learning could make the effective learners. The characteristics of effective learners are active, strategic, responsible to their learning, collaborative, etc.
Effective learning and learners are really close to effective teaching and teacher. An effective teacher is the teaching process that could makes effective learning happen and effective teaching could create the learners become the effective learners, so those are related and possibly happened in education.
There are 5 key behaviors to effective teaching. a) Lesson clarity, refers to the lesson and the way to explain the concept or material have to be clear. b) Instructional variety refers to variability and flexibility of delivery the lesson. c) Teacher task orientation refers to manage the time in class and master the topic. d) Engagement in learning process refers to the engagement of students in learning. 5) Student success rate refers to the student’s understanding of the lesson successfully.
Besides 5 key behaviors to effective teaching, there are also 5 helping behavior to effective learning. a) Using student ideas and contributions, b) Structuring, c) Questioning, d) Probing, and e) Teacher affect.

what's the measurement that students can be called as effective learners?
Reza, i want to remind about our school experience where the teacher said the odd of teaching is loose motivation to teach. What would you do if you are in that condition?
what do you mean by learners construct an activity as the definition of effective learning?
