It was the first meeting of PETA subject in the class after the mid exam. In the last mid exam on PETA subject i got a surprising thing. Ya, it’s all about the test itself, it was out of my prediction and my friends said so. The test was making a lesson plan. Actually it’s not a hard thing because I had learned it before and also I had some experience in doing it on my school experience program. Ok, that’s a little bit stories from mid exam and now I’ll talk about the reflection of the last meeting.
In the last meeting, I learned about effective teaching and effective learning, developing a lesson plan, and also collaborative learning. Ms. Ine used guided discovery method to teach all of the materials. So, she divided the class into some groups and I have to do discussion within my group. Inside the group I divided the resources that have been given by Ms.Ine into some parts and each of the members should master their own part (Jigsaw reading). So, it made me easy to present the information from the resources within the group presentation.
Actually it was a little bit hard to understand about all of the materials in one time. Because i though this meeting contain a lot of new aspects that should be understood. Eventhough it’s difficult but I knew that I have to cover up all of those materials by myself. May be, that’s why we called as a new generation of the teacher because we are “different”.
