At November 29th, 2011, PETA class became an art class! We were asked to draw. Nah, I am kidding. That was just Miss Ine's strategy to open the lesson interestingly. She asked us to draw what we felt. Unfortunately, I felt messed up that time (so I do now) so I drew a book which many strokes on the left page while the right page is still blank. It means that I have to keep living, writing my own story of life whatever my past condition. Well, enough for my feeling that day. Miss Ine also asked us to draw whatever we feel when we hear a word “test”. Predicted! Almost all of us said that we hate it.
However, the main menu for that day was discussion about assessment. We talked much about assessment. We also complained about the PETA assignments. By the way, I’ve just known that test and evaluation are different with assessment. They are part of assessment. Assessment is something to collect the data or information about students in learning and teaching process. Both of students and teacher use assessment to improve their ability, in learning, and in teaching.
To be honest, I am still wondering whether giving a lot of assignment is effective assessment. However, I, as a student, can do nothing but keep doing all assignments. That is the way a cookie crumbles.

It's a nice reflection, I also just have known that evaluation is part of assessment. Then, according to your opinion, what should teacher master to be able to do accurate assessment?
Then how should teachers give assignments to their students so that giving assignment can be said effective?
