Planning for Teacher

It is my second session in studying PETA. Here we discuss many things. At first, we discuss about thematic learning and are followed by analyzing a teaching process based on video. Well, I think it is more challenging than the day before. I am interested in this topic but I do not know I get sleepy. Well, the main point that I would like to share is not about my feeling. Actually it is about what I have got in my PETA.
Thematic, have you ever heard about it before? Basically I ever hear before but I do not really understand. Watching video that the lecture give makes me understand what thematic is. Well, thematic is teaching which uses combination of material such as English, Math and Biology. That is little bit about thematic.
My friend and I also analyze about an effective teaching based on video. As we know, teaching is a set of activity in impacting knowledge. It is included opening, delivering material, giving assessment and also closing. I think an effective teacher should have those parts.
Hence, we can see how to create an effective teaching for example in opening session, it can be effective if there are greeting, rolling call and also praying. The candidate of teacher should understand it well. It is necessary for us in our future when we teach in real class. But just knowing it is not enough, we also have to prepare before teaching. It can support us to teach, why? ‘Well preparation is well result. It means that preparation is important to help us in reaching the good result. It happens to every single thing, included in teaching process.
Well, we can compare and see the result that teaching with preparation is more effective than teaching which does not use preparation. So usually teacher prepares his/ her teaching by making lesson plan. The use of lesson plan itself is to guide in teaching and also to help us in managing what material should we give to the students. The content that we can write in lesson plan are time managing, the way to deliver material and kind of media that we want to use.
One thing that we should remember what we have and what we give will influence our students someday.

Nice posting, Ira. :D Well, I'm wondering whether making a lesson plan is a kind of hard thing to do or not. Could you give your opinion, please?

well, for me myself as the beginner, honestly I say that it is a kind of hard thing.hence in making it, we school understand what lesson plan is as long as I am not mistaken it is matched with the curricula.
other way, we can share with our friend to help us making it, especially a friend who has experience in it.
