The first meeting in principle of effective teaching and assessment was good but I also felt bored. I do not why. My lecture introduced the scholar about the lesson, module and also assessment. This lesson is about effectiveness of teaching. I hope this lesson could help me to teach effectively in my class.
For introduction, my lecture asked the scholar to thing about effective teacher and effective learning. In my opinion, effective teacher is teacher who can guide the student to reach the objective of the lesson. Teacher has to understand the student personality.
Effective learning is when the teacher can reach the objective or the goal of the lesson. There are many methods and techniques to reach the objective of the lesson. I think it would be learned in this lesson and some subject in this semester, so do you want to know more about teaching? Wait for other information in this blog... see you.

I agree with this.. "effective teacher is teacher who can guide the student to reach the objective of the lesson"
but how when we have a limited time to reach the lesson objective which is so hard to be understood? can we still be effective? like in Ira Bulu said in her post.. we may ignore students' understanding. What do you think/
