PETA: Four Kinds of Model Instructional
In the previous course of PETA, we have discussed about four kinds of model instructional. It was very interesting topic because as a teacher it is very helpful. Through knowing model instructional teacher can manage their class to be as they want.
First model is Guided discovery model. It is model that emphasizes teacher as facilitator in class. In this model teacher provides scaffolding to the student. In my opinion, it is good model because through this model we can stimulus our student to active in class. Teacher has to provide clear instructions to student, stay control to their activities and the most unique one in this model is teacher has to ask his student with open ended question. In the other hand, we have direct instructional.
Second, Lecture discussion is model instructional that emphasize in lecturing first and then discussion. The characteristic of this model is teacher will use virtual media to make class more interesting.
Then, Direct instructional is emphasize Teacher Talking Time (TTT) in class. In this model, teacher has big control in class. Based on our discussion in PETA course, this model can be applied in kind of level of student. The last model is group interaction. Personally, I am very like this model because it is bring student to have teamwork in class. Group interaction emphasizes in teamwork student in class. Through this model teacher brings student to have high responsibility about his/her self and his/her group.
I hope for the next school experience I can observe even do one of model instructional that I have learned. My expectation for the next course is can do great simulation of microteaching with Ika, Ella and Brilli based on lesson plan that have made by us.

I agree ur statement.. in lecturing discussion sometimes we found it so boringgg but if teacher use some medias to make it interesting.. this method can be effectively applied
