RECALL ABOUT THE TEACHING MODELS

In my previous journal reflection I have posted about four Learning Methods. In this week also I had discussed about that again in different angle of course. Ms. Ine divided us into four groups. First group was Direct-Instructions group, second was Lecturer-Discussion group, third was Guided-Discovery group and last was Group-Interaction group. So, what are differences in that meeting?

Ms. Ine gave us some rules which have to follow by all groups. The rules were role giving for each group. For example was each member of a group role as a facilitator, recorder, illustrator, encourager or material manager.  She also reminded us to be responsible and consistent on my own jobdesk.

During the meeting, every group have to identify the characteristics of the teching model and decide how and when is the teaching model to become effective. At that time, I was an illustrator. My group was Group-Interaction teaching model. Based on my group discussion, the characteristics were colaborating skills,

The Group-Interaction would be effective if every member did their job well. That would be success if every member took good role. In Group-Interaction has to support each other. Each member of the group has to contribute as best as possible.

Suddenly, Ms. Ine gave us a post test. She asked us to write down all about the four Teaching Models. These are strengths, weaknesses, differences and similarities. I tried my best on that test. I hope everything will be okay. After the meeting, I feel satisfied to understand this topic well.
