CLASSROOM ASSESSMENT

In the last session we have discussed about assessment in the classroom. It talked about what effective assessment it is and how we can make some kinds of assessment that appropriate to be applied. We have to consider about two main things during the learning process there are assessment and evaluation. In my point of view assessment is a journey to collect data about students’ capability through some task. In other hand evaluation is broader than assessment that talks about giving feedback and score for the students.
We may know that there two kinds of assessment that usually used in Indonesia there are formative and summative assessment. As a new generation of teacher we should design our assessment different with the conventional assessment. It doesn’t mean that everything in the past is bad, but we supposed to improve our assessment consider the students multiple intelligence. Their learning preference should be covered in our assessment, its related to the characteristic of assessment that should be valid and reliability.
Overall this session made me realize how to conduct an assessment in the class and what are the consideration to design it. Yet, this knowledge not only for teacher but as a student I have to know how my teacher was assessing me. Finally the most important is evaluation that I got also in SSE and I hope I can apply it in my next teaching experience.

Well, as we may know about cognitive, affective and psychomotor in assessment. so what do you think about those points?
cam them cover students' MI?
